What’s new in the simulator, newest first.
-
Upload your own player values as a CSV
The Customize Players screen now has an Import CSV option. Upload or paste a spreadsheet with your own auction values and projected points, preview what matched, and apply it in one click instead of typing values player by player. Common column names like AAV, Salary, and FPTS are recognized automatically.
-
Send winning builds straight to Build-a-Champ
Every roster on the meta sim's Blueprints and Dream Teams tabs now has an Open in Build-a-Champ link. One click loads that build into Build-a-Champ with the roster name pre-filled, so you can tweak it, boost players, fill out the bench, and save it as your draft-day target.
-
Choose your projections: ESPN or FantasyPros
League Settings has a new Point Projections option that lets you run your drafts on FantasyPros projections instead of ESPN's. The two sources disagree by 15-20 points on some first-round players, so it's an easy way to see how a different set of projections changes who's worth what in your league.
-
Flex and Superflex filters in Build-a-Champ
The Build-a-Champ player market now has FLEX and SUPERFLEX filters, so you can browse every flex-eligible player (RB/WR/TE) or superflex-eligible player (QB/RB/WR/TE) at once instead of checking one position at a time.
-
Real superflex pricing
Superflex and 2QB leagues now get a QB market that looks like a real one: elite QBs price near the top running backs and receivers, and startable QBs hold real value instead of everyone past QB5 sitting at $3. You can also shift any position's values up or down by a percentage in League Settings (importing last year's draft pre-fills these), and individual player adjustments can now go all the way up to your league's max bid.
-
Undo picks and see drafted players
Two draft-room upgrades from your feedback: an Undo Last Pick button that returns the player to the pool, refunds the winning team, and replays the nomination (undo as many picks as you want), plus a Cancel Nomination button to pull a player off the block without a sale. The player list also has a new Show Drafted toggle so you can see who's already gone, who bought them, and for how much.
-
Late-draft prices bottom out like a real auction
In keeper leagues and deeper lineups, end-of-board players were being valued at $4-7, so late picks never fell to $1. Player values are now calibrated so the bottom of the board stays at $1 and bids collapse the way a real auction does once the money dries up.
-
No stray kickers in kicker-less leagues
If your league doesn't start a position (like K or D/ST), those players are now left out of the draft entirely — no more kicker nominations or defenses parked on a bench spot they could never start.
-
Build-a-Champ: hand-pick a roster from your sim results
The Meta Simulation report has a new Build-a-Champ tab. Pick any players the simulations drafted — each priced at what your league actually pays for them on average — and see the roster's projected points, finish, and title odds against every simulated team. Set a +/- % on players you expect to beat or miss their projections, and save up to 5 rosters that carry over to your next meta sim.

The Auction Dispatch: our new strategy blog
BIDIRON now has a blog. The Auction Dispatch covers auction draft strategy — starting with why auctions beat snake drafts — plus this Recent Updates page, an RSS feed, and an email signup. Find the link in the app header once you leave the title screen.
-
The Back button now works
Pressing Back in your browser now moves you between BIDIRON screens instead of dumping you out of the site. If a draft is running, the app asks before letting you leave so you can’t lose an auction by accident.
-
No more late-draft fire sales
Fixed a realism problem where the room spent almost all its money early and stars still on the board sold for pocket change late in the draft. AI teams now pace their spending and bring good players up for auction while there's still money to pay for them, so late-round prices track what players are actually worth.
-
Value Hunter and Hero RB got major overhauls
Two AI opponents were rebuilt from the ground up. Value Hunter now buys a couple of fairly-priced anchors early, stays disciplined, and cleans up in the $1-3 bargain phase at the end — it actually finishes drafts with surplus value now. Hero RB reliably lands a true stud running back before pivoting its remaining budget to receivers, instead of hoarding mid-priced RBs.
-
Name the teams you bid against
You can now give each AI opponent a custom name in setup, and those names follow them everywhere — the bid ticker, rosters, draft history, and every post-draft report. If you import your league's draft, the names are pre-filled from your real league mates.
-
Pausing no longer hides the auction
Pausing mid-bid used to blank out the whole auction, which made pausing to think about a bid pointless. Now the player on the block, the current bid, and the Bid Advisor all stay visible while paused — only the clock stops.
-
Fairer prices in big leagues and keeper leagues
Early-round bidding was badly inflated in 12+ team leagues and keeper leagues — the extra money in the room was all landing on the first stars nominated. Prices are now recalibrated so the surplus spreads across the middle and late rounds instead, and early sales in big leagues came down to realistic levels.
-
Keeper league support
You can now set up keepers before the draft: pick each team's kept players and prices, or pull them straight from last year's imported draft with common pricing rules (same price, +$5, or +10%). Keepers show up on rosters and reports with a K badge, and remaining player values adjust to the money actually left in the room.
-
Import last year's draft to recreate your league
Upload a CSV of last season's auction results and the app learns how your league actually pays — which positions go for a premium, whether elite players at each position get bid up or come cheap, and who hoards cash. Each of your league mates is matched to the closest AI personality and seated in your draft room automatically.
-
Spending limits for Auto-Pilot
You can now cap what Auto-Pilot pays per position — for example RB at most $70, or never more than $1 on a kicker — so it drafts within your plan even when you're not clicking the buttons.
-
Player values match your scoring format
Dollar values now adjust to your league's scoring. Pass-catching backs and high-volume receivers are worth more in PPR and less in standard, and the AI bidders, Bid Advisor, and reports all use the format-adjusted numbers automatically.

Sign up for news and updates
Added an email signup so you can hear when new features land — find it in the title-screen footer or after finishing a draft. Your address is stored privately by the app itself, not handed to a third-party service.

Draft room polish: clearer bidding and no lost drafts
A big round of quality-of-life fixes: a SOLD! banner announces every winning bid, a gold chip shows when you hold the high bid, disabled buttons explain why, and the app warns you before closing a tab mid-draft. Under the hood, the auction engine was hardened so restarts and last-second bids can never corrupt a draft, and post-draft report numbers now stay accurate at any league budget.
-
Easier to read, easier to tap
Accessibility pass across the app: text colors were brightened to meet contrast standards, tiny labels got bigger, buttons grew to comfortable touch-target sizes on phones, animations respect your reduced-motion setting, and timers are properly announced to screen readers.
-
Draft setup is now a 3-step wizard
Draft Config was redesigned from one dense page into a guided three-step flow — league settings, then how you want to draft (live, simulate, or meta-simulate), then AI and strategy options — with inline validation so mistakes are caught before you launch.
-
Meta Simulation: Winners, Blueprints, and Dream Teams
The meta simulation report gained three new tabs that study the whole league, not just your seat: what the average winning roster looks like and which strategies win most, real example rosters from the top strategy, and the best-value dream lineup each leading strategy could build at the prices it typically pays.
-
The whole app works on your phone
Full mobile support: the draft room gets a bottom tab bar (Auction / Players / Teams / More) with the countdown always visible in the header, the title and setup screens fit small screens, and the post-draft and meta reports reflow so tables scroll instead of overflowing.
-
Build your own AI strategy
New custom strategy builder: design your own bidding personality — and assign it to AI opponents or your own Auto-Pilot. Custom strategies work everywhere built-in ones do, including simulations and meta simulations, and they're saved between sessions.
